Our Camper Vans
The pace of life in Orkney is slow and relaxed, which suits our vans perfectly. They allow you time to appreciate the views and make the most out of your holiday.
We currently have a choice of 2 vans you can rent out:
Poppy
Poppy is a 1986 Leisuredrive conversion. She has a full length pop top which will comfortably sleep 2 children (max weight 60kgs). She is a right hand drive and has a 1.9 petrol engine. She seats 5 and sleeps 4. When hooked up in a campsite she also has 2 240v sockets in additional to lights and fridge. You can also hire an awning or tent to go with her if you require extra space.

Mr Bumble
Mr Bumble is a 1982 Westfalia High Top. As with most Westfalias he is a left hand drive and as his name states he likes to bumble along at his own pace. He has a 1.6 diesel engine which makes him nice and cheap to run and he seats 5. He sleeps 4 people – 2 in the full width double bed and 2 (max weight 60kg) in the top double bed. He has a fantastic amount of storage and the window in his high top makes him bright and airy. You can also hire an awning or tent to go with him if you require extra space.

We have plenty of extras you can hire, from bike racks to awnings, sleeping bags and pillow packs to bbqs and a tv/dvd player. Click here to add those special extras to your booking.
We want you to feel like you are on holiday as soon as you step onto the island. This is why we make sure you have to do as little as possible to start your holiday. If you want meeting from Kirkwall or Stromness boats, Kirkwall Bus Station or the airport, we can easily arrange a pick up most days, just let us know your requirements well in advance and we will see what we can do.
Deposits
£100 Deposit required to confirm booking, paypal (payments@orkneycampers.com), cheque or electronic transfer accepted. Balance due 6 weeks before holiday.
£500 returnable Security deposit (paypal (payments@orkneycampers.com), cash, cleared cheque or bank transfer) will be taken prior to collection of vehicle and returned within 1 week after return of camper if returned clean, undamaged, fully equipped with a full tank of petrol. Any costs incurred should any condition be unfulfilled will be deducted from the deposit taken.
