Wild Camping

As well as campsites we are also one of the few places in the UK that you can still wild camp. Plenty of our beaches have public toilets with drinkable water and sinks. We do operate a zero impact approach though, so please leave our beautiful beaches as you found them and the facilities clean and tidy. This will ensure that this privilege lives on long after we have all gone.

If you want meeting from Kirkwall or Stromness boats, Kirkwall Bus Station or the airport, we can easily arrange a pick up most days, just let us know your requirements well in advance and we will see what we can do.
